Our Community
Northants SEND Mummas is a parent-led support group dedicated to empowering families of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across Northamptonshire.
We provide a safe, understanding, and judgement-free space where parents and carers can share experiences, access peer support, and find practical guidance to help them navigate the challenges of the SEND journey.
Our Aim
Our community offers a blend of emotional support, signposting to services, informal meet-ups, workshops, and opportunities to connect with others who truly understand the complexities of raising a SEND child. We believe that no parent should feel isolated, and that strong, supportive networks can significantly improve wellbeing and outcomes for both families and children.

At SEND Mummas we believe when women support one another, incredible change becomes possible. Through compassion, encouragement, and practical help, we create safe spaces where women can rebuild confidence, overcome challenges, and achieve great things. We are committed to empowering women from all walks of life.

Every day, SEND Mummas are dedicated to uplifting and empowering women through compassion, encouragement, and meaningful support. We believe that every woman deserves the opportunity to feel confident, valued, and inspired, no matter the challenges she may face. Together, we are building a stronger, more connected community where every woman feels valued, heard, and supported to thrive.
Collaborations and School Visits
We bring in speakers and professionals to offer advice and guidance to the parents. In person workshops to allow social interaction between the parents.
